Awake NY look set to keep its hot streak going as the New York-based brand team up with sportswear brand ASICS for yet another collaboration.
Having previously joined forces for collaborative iterations of ASICS’ GEL-Kayano 5 360s, Awake NY are back at it again with ASICS as the cult streetwear brand takes on the GEL-Lyte 3 silhouette. Set to release three separate colourways, Awake NY’s design choices keep to their prior collaborative releases with the brand, with distinct AWAKE name branding being imprinted into the heel of all three pairs. Additional features for this release include a transparent ASICS Tiger Stripe, a mesh netting across the base panelling, a mixed composition of suede overlays and a nylon base, as well as ASICS branding on the white midsoles. The three pairs are set to drop in three ‘Grey/Green’, ‘Blue/Yellow’, and ‘Black/Fuchsia’ colourways.
The latest Awake NY x ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 collaboration is tipped to drop in the next few days via both Awake NY and ASICS.
